Ticketmaster's president has confirmed "stuck transfers" following a ticket delivery failure last Friday, raising new concerns over the company's reliability. A separate report pointed to the disruption as proof the risk that comes with relying on one dominant ticketing provider.

The trouble comes as a reseller listing a Bruno Mars ticket said she was blindsided by the fees Ticketmaster tacked onto her listed price. Rival SeatGeek, meanwhile, introduced a new tool called TourIQ, a forecasting tool aimed at live event sellers, presenting itself as a competitor at a time when faith in Ticketmaster is slipping.
