Sadiq Khan has proposed a cap on the number of robotaxis operating in London to address safety concerns. This comes as companies such as Baidu are testing robotaxis in the city. Khan has also faced criticism for promoting a 'highest building competition' for developers and for allegedly covering up unlawful speeding fines. Despite these issues, the budget has allocated £10 billion for London's infrastructure projects, which Khan has confirmed. The mayor has been working on various projects to upgrade London's transportation systems. Khan's initiatives include plans to expand public transport. He has also been focusing on reducing traffic congestion. These efforts aim to support economic growth in London.
